Rebecca L. Gobeille

As a member of the Loan Team at JPC, Becca puts her fifteen years of real estate law and finance experience to good use representing lenders who originate loans under the Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac multifamily loan programs throughout the country, including conventional and affordable loans, supplemental loans, ARM loans and loan conversions, SARM loans, tax-exempt bond credit enhancements, taxable tails, Fannie Mae small loans, assumptions, Choice Refinances, Manufactured Housing, Senior Housing, fractured condominiums and reverse exchanges.

Becca's experience is primarily in transactional real estate law with an emphasis on complex transactions involving the financing, development and management of residential, commercial and mixed-use real estate projects. These projects have involved multi-tiered financing, including funding sources such as low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, HUD financing, HOME and CDBG funds, Section 8 rental assistance, state and local programs, property tax exemptions and community land trusts.

Becca has broad experience in property acquisition and due diligence, joint ventures, equity and debt financing, construction, leasing and operations involving multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office and industrial projects across the country. She has advised clients in all aspects of condominium and subdivision law including the negotiation and drafting of the documentation required for the formation of condominiums and cooperatives, mixed-use projects and planned unit developments.

As an undergraduate, Becca majored in Urban Studies at the University of Pennsylvania before attending the University of Michigan to complete an MUP/JD dual degree program in the Law School and the U of M School of Architecture and Urban Planning. She was an associate at the law firm of Hirschen Singer & Epstein in New York City for six years before moving to Seattle to continue her career in real estate law.
