Mark Pepple specializes in real estate transactions, loan documentation, commercial litigation, foreclosures, title insurance issues, and corporate organization and taxation.
Mark’s primary practice area is representing banks and life insurance companies in commercial loan transactions. He has represented agent banks in syndicated construction loans and permanent lenders in the financing of large commercial and agricultural projects. Mark's practice extends beyond lenders, and includes the representation of landlords and tenants in lease disputes, buyers and sellers in purchase and sale agreements, and major Seattle developers in corporate reorganizations and tax planning. The breadth of his representation embodies the firm's core philosophy that the best client representation is achieved through a rich, contextual understanding of many facets of the law, as well as how any individual matter fits within the client's overall goals.
Mark graduated Magna cum Laude with a BA in Philosophy and Classical Studies from The George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C. where he was a member of the crew team and in 2006 received the award for the highest GPA of any male athlete. He received his J.D. in 2010 from the University of Washington and is a member of the Washington State Bar. Mark also earned an L.L.M. in taxation from New York University in 2011, the top ranked tax school in the country. While attending GWU, Mark also spent four weeks working at an archaeological dig at Tel-Kabri in northern Israel, an experience that he has put to good use when sorting through mounds of complex legal documents.
